COLUMBUS, Ohio Police are renewing their call for information in the unsolved 2020 killing of a man shot in the Hilltop neighborhood, urging anyone with details to come forward.
William Campbell was found by officers in the 1600 block of Sullivant Avenue around 7:40 p.m. on March 14, 2020, suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
He was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died.
Victim Chased, Shot from Vehicle
Investigators said witnesses reported Campbell was chased into the street before being shot by someone inside a moving vehicle.
The suspect vehicle fled southbound on Ryan Avenue, police said.
No arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly identified.
