Man, 26, Charged After Double Shooting Sends Two to Hospital in Northeast Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio A 26-year-old man has been arrested after two people were shot overnight in northeast Columbus, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

Tyuan Joe McClain, 26, is charged in connection with the shooting, which occurred early Sunday on Marcia Drive.

Police said just after midnight, officers received information that two victims had arrived at Ohio State East Hospital with gunshot wounds. Both victims are expected to survive.

Suspect Located Shortly After

Investigators identified Marcia Drive as the scene of the shooting. Officers later located McClain and took him into custody without incident.

Charges Filed

McClain faces multiple charges, including:

Felonious assault

Having weapons under disability

Tampering with evidence

Discharging a firearm over a roadway

The case remains under investigation.
